Mandt training is a comprehensive approach designed to teach caregivers, educators, and human services professionals strategies for preventing, de-escalating, and safely responding to challenging behaviors. The focus is on building healthy relationships, promoting safety, and ensuring dignity and respect for everyone involved, emphasizing proactive and non-physical interventions whenever possible.

• Apex Family Care providers are offered a discounted rate of $54 to attend the class. This must be paid prior to registering for a class. Click this link to complete payment. (Non-Apex staff/providers must register directly via the Red Cross website)

• After payment is received, you’ll receive an email with the link to register for the class. Registration links are emailed weekly on Friday.

• This is a blended learning course that requires a virtual session to be completed at least 24 hours prior to attending the in-person session. 

Join us for a Medication Aide course. This level certification allows medication aides to work in settings other than nursing homes, assisted living facilities and intermediate care facilities for the developmentally disabled. . Upon completion of this course level, the individual will be knowledgeable of the 10 competencies and the basic routes outlined on Medication Aide (ne.gov).

• This class requires all attendees to bring an $18 money order. This is due at the start of the class. You can leave the money order blank, and it’ll be filled out in class.
